  My partner and I recently went through the process of securing a home loan in Australia, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience than the one we had with Sunshine Coast Financial Solutions.
  SCFS was highly recommended to us by a friend who had worked with them before, and now I completely understand why.
  From our first conversations with Chris through to working closely with Daryl, we felt guided, supported and well informed at every stage. They took the time to understand our situation, explained the available options clearly, answered every question thoroughly, and were always happy to help, even when we had plenty of follow-up questions.
  What stood out most was the communication. Updates were proactive, responses were incredibly fast, and whenever we asked multiple questions, we received complete and thoughtful answers rather than partial replies. Nothing ever felt rushed, and we never felt like just another client moving through a process.
  The level of professionalism and attention to detail was exceptional. Even when everything appeared ready to go, they still took the time to double-check the details and make sure everything was correct before giving us the green light. That thoroughness gave us a lot of confidence and peace of mind.

  A fantastic, well-oiled machine! SCFS have a great team of experts to help all things home loan. We had a welcome consultation with Chris who then handed us over to Adam who was our mortgage broker. We couldn’t be happier with Adam, he is top notch. Always happy to answer questions (and we had many as first time buyers!) and super efficient with calculating and assessing different loan options tailored to our situation.
  Once we had our (very competitive) loan and we had made an offer on a house, we were then assisted by Grant, who specialises in the settlement process. Grant was great at keeping us up to date with communication and making sure all the specific details were accurate.
  During the home offer process we experienced another mortgage broker trying to swoop in and poach us to secure a deal after claiming they could get us a better loan offer. We didn’t appreciate this underhanded tactic (apparently common in the field) but entertained him to see what numbers he could come back with. This outside mortgage broker was not competitive at all compared to the loan offers Adam could provide and didn’t have anywhere close to the clear, genuine communication of the SCFS team.
  We are so happy we chose SCFS and will continue to use them for any future loans, thanks so much team!

  Chris, Daryl and the team at SCFS salvaged what had become a diabolical mess of obtaining finance. I’d initially used a different broker, who’d not been able to produce results in the lead up to the finance clause expiry date for the purchase of my new home. Having been granted a couple of extensions already, and with only 48 hours to go, Daryl jumped into action and SCFS were able to process an application for which I received full approval the following day, and the contract was able to proceed. I am so grateful that they were able to produce positive results so quickly for me with a fantastic loan product, and a great interest rate. They saved the purchase for me of our forever home.   Joanne has worked with us on 2 separate occasions and on this most recent application – she has truly gone above and beyond what would normally be expected of a broker.
  We were financing under tight conditions in an inflated market but with Jo assisting us we felt confident we could achieve a positive outcome.
  Initially we secured funding to purchase a rural block of land and also pre-approval for a construction loan to build our home through one lender.
  When the time came to go to full approval, the valuation firm engaged by the lender valued the property and improvements significantly lower than market value. This put us in a difficult situation and Jo worked tirelessly to ensure no stone was left unturned for options.
  Jo was even working on our application when she was going through her own personal and family situations and would keep us regularly updated over weekends and outside business hours.
  After exhausting nearly all our options, Jo was able to find us a much better deal / package tied in with a much more favourable valuation which led us to ultimately be able to continue with building our family home.
  Without Jo on our side I am almost certain we would have not got to this outcome. She is more than a broker, she treated our application like it was her own. We are so very grateful for having had Jo help us on our recent journey and cannot recommend her highly enough to any future clients.
